A Slam Dunk: Kaseya Awarded Naming Rights To The Miami Heat Arena

Kaseya continues to invest in its hometown of Miami while gaining national brand recognition.

The booming software company this week became the official arena naming-rights sponsor for the NBA’s Miami Heat. Formerly known as American Airlines Arena and the FTX Arena, the building will now be called the Kaseya Center.

“As it’s one of the most iconic venues in the world, we could not be more excited to officially rename the arena as the Kaseya Center and partner with the Miami Heat,” says Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola. “Miami is our home, and having Kaseya showcased globally as synonymous with Miami is something we’re very proud of, and it will provide significant value to our organization, its employees, shareholders, clients and the community.”

“The Miami Heat are widely recognized as a championship-level organization that has attained the highest levels of success, both on the court and in the community,” he adds. “As Kaseya has grown into the global leader in IT and security management software, we’re honored to partner with an iconic franchise that mirrors our own passion to achieve great things.”

Kaseya will pay $117 million over 17 years for the naming rights. The company has four offices in Miami’s Brickell Avenue area and recently announced plans to hire 3,400 more employees in the City of Miami, securing a pledge of $4.6 million in subsidies from Miami-Dade if the hiring goals are met. Kaseya currently has 48,000 customers in more than 25 countries, and approximately 4,500 employees.

For Kaseya, the sponsorship shows the company’s commitment to Miami and is part of a strategy to recruit top talent, as well as a national branding strategy to make the company’s platform, IT Complete, a brand name for multifunction IT professionals and MSPs alike. The additional attention brought by the arena’s name has already started, as national news outlets like ESPN, the New York Post, CBS and NBC have already begun buzzing about the news.

While there were several other organizations competing for the naming rights, Kaseya was awarded the sponsorship due to the fact that it is a Miami-based organization with a proven track record for growth, financial stability and success.
